The blond squirmed. Their silence mixed with the fact that she was (only slightly) bored did not make a happy Elle. She sat up and crawled over Luke as carefully as she could manage, pressing herself up against the back of the couch laying on her side somewhat on top of Luke. Laying her head near Luke's shoulder, she smiled up at both of them innocently. She didn't like to be left out of things. This was just her way of getting in.

Luke stilled when Elle climbed on top of him, admittedly more awkward now that Sylar was in the room. He didn't dislike Elle being this close to him, but he wasn't sure what Sylar thought about it. Part of him wanted the man to be jealous, and to insist that Elle move away. Luke felt like he wanted Sylar to fight for him. He didn't really see it happening, though.

Lifting his attention from Luke when Elle settled in against the younger one, Sylar let out a sigh and tilted his head. He didn't know what to do with them. He didn't even know what to do with himself.
"This must be purgatory." he muttered, wrinkling his nose. As far as he was concerned he had laid his claim to Luke already. This girl couldn't undo that. And if Luke wasn't fighting her off then Sylar didn't see it concerning him much.

Sighing, the girl rolled her eyes. She propped herself up as well as she could in the strange position. "Don't be a downer," she said, pouting. Lifting up her hand, Elle batted his cheek and gave him a half-smile. It was just a random impulse to patronize the older man.
"S'better than hell," she said, running her thumb over his cheek bone before sticking out her tongue childishly. She considered shocking him just to annoy him more than he probably already was, however, the threat of water was still looming over her head for right now. Later.
