Elle glanced up. She tried to laugh, but it came out half sob. "No shit," she said. Opening her palm, she let out an identical shock to what she felt before at him. She wasn't sure if she hit or not, but just letting out the electricity on someone made her feel so much better. The ability was being used on something else and not her own skin. The pain was dying down, her adrenaline level returning back to normal. She laughed and buried her head back in her hands, contemplating blowing this whole place up.

Luke ducked, and the electricity skimmed right over his head, causing his hair to crackle with static and a tiny shock hit him square on the forehead, spreading through the hard bone and jolting him out of his destructive reverie. Feeling guilty, he moved towards her. He couldn't pretend that he really felt sorry for her, but he felt bad for himself for feeling like this. It was selfish, but he didn't want to turn out like that, whatever company he chose. He didn't want to be a bad person. "What can I do?" he asked roughly.

Sylar watched them, letting her overwhelm herself with her own power. He could have reached out to her, let the excess flow over into him, but he held himself still. She was part of the Company. She was maybe one of the ones that had helped put him away. They should have known that they could not shut him away so easily.
Letting Luke past him to get closer to her, Sylar scowled, electricity crackling up his arm as he took another step back. He was mildly disgusted with the entire thing, though it was not directed at Elle personally, or Luke.
Turning, he left them in the kitchen, forgetting about their meal, forgetting about playing house or the good mood he had been in earlier. Flinging out his hand, he nearly ripped the door off its hinges as he used his power to push it open, then walked out, wishing he had something besides the two kids to strangle.

"Nothing. You can't do anything." Elle flicked her gaze around before pulling herself up. Light static skimmed over the surface of her skin. The pain was gone for the most part. Once she was standing, she leaned against the wall.
Elle flinched. "Gabriel!" What was she doing?! She shouldn't call him back! Against all sense she still had in her head, she walked to the door and looked out. Did he hate her? Where was he going? Her stomach twisted up in a knot, everything that had just happened pushed out of her head. What if he was going to tell the town about her? Torture her for information...
Everything in her head was telling her to leave while the door was open. Make a run for it. She didn't. "Gabriel, wait! What are you... Wait!"

Luke twisted when Sylar left the room, forgetting about Elle for the moment. He froze, not having to be a telepath to see how angry the man was. But why? With Elle? Should he go after him, or would the man prefer to be alone? He wavered, feeling even more conflicted.

It was a stupid thing to do, but Sylar was simply too angry to stand there while the two of them bickered or flirted or whatever they were doing. He wanted to destroy something, and he didn't want it to be his house.
When he heard her call his name he sneered, rounding on her and glaring as though possessed. "My name is Sylar!" he nearly growled, half shouting.

Elle flinched, but stared at him. Sylar? It was so familiar.. Like it was on the tip of her tongue.
"Fine," she took a step outside, holding her arms close to her body over her chest. "Sylar. Your name is Sylar." She stared at him, flicking through the abilities she'd learned about, wondering which one he was going to kill her with for being such a block-headed, ditzy blond.

"For fuck's sake, is nobody on this island normal?" Luke burst out, suddenly furious.
He smacked one fist into the palm of his other hand, looking furiously between them. It was their fault between them that he felt like he was going insane.

It was probably the wrong thing for Luke to say, because it set Sylar off again, and he came back towards the house, lifting his hand and making a grasping motion as he stared at the boys neck. Letting his telekinesis closed the distance between them, he gave a threatening squeeze of pressure. He could kill them both and dump their bodies and be done with it already.
"I don't know what is worse, being stuck here or being drugged into submission in that concrete and glass cell!" he said, angry with the memories Elle had brought up.

Elle stared, horrified at what was happening. "Sylar stop it, this is what they want! Don't kill him because of them!" Her electricity orbed in her hand, this time of her own will. Shock him, run. she thought. If she could generate enough power to knock him out of consciousness, she could run and give Luke a chance to run too. "You're better than that. Better than them."

Luke choked, standing on his tiptoes and squirming as his throat muscles constricted almost painfully. He gasped for air, his hands spread in front of his chest in case he needed to fight back. He wasn't afraid to do it, either.

Sylar clearly wasn't thinking straight. He was having one of his more psychotic moments, and they both happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. "They couldn't kill me so they stuck me here." he growled, not even really seeing Luke as he tightened his grip on him. "Now I'm supposed to do their job for them. And you're here to make sure I do, aren't you?" he asked, glaring dangerously at Elle.
"I'm not going back in that box." he said, jaw clenching as he thought about it.

"No!" she bit out angrily. She didn't work for them anymore... She'd never work there again. Emotions over taking her, Elle released a current. He couldn't die, so she gave it all she could. When she came to her senses, she stopped and took a step back. Standing like an idiot, she stared with wide eyes.

At almost exactly the same time as Elle let out a burst of elecricity, Luke's subconscious mind took over as he became almost unable to process thought due to the stars bursting behind his eyes. He thrust his hands forwards with a desperate groan, unable to even talk, to protest. He felt like he was dying, drowning... He opened and closed his mouth like one of the fish Sylar had killed, throwing a desperate pulse of heat wave forward simultaneous with Elle's electricity.

THe combined pulse of microwaves and electricity hit Sylar full on, and the pain was incredibly intense. He jerked backwards, eyes going wide and shocked as he lost his telekinetic hold on Luke. It started like a sudden itch under his skin that immediately erupted in boiling blood and sizzling flesh, and he stared blankly at them before falling backwards onto the ground.
It wouldn't kill him, but he was rendered unconscious, his heart stopped from the electric shock and his blood all but vaporized by Luke's attack.
