"I like McDonalds apple pies." Luke murmured wistfully, leaning against the table and watching Sylar. "They're neither apple nor pie and they're too hot to eat. I wish I had one now."

Elle pulled out a chair to sit, trying her hardest to ignore the talk of delicious food. "What kind of Company would they be if they let us have fast food?" she joked, folding her arms on the table and laying her head down once again. She felt her eyes droop and snapped them open. Turning, she looked over in Sylar's direction, laying her head down on it's side. She figured if she started to fall asleep that way, he'd see and wake her up. Hopefully.
"How long 'til the fish's done?" she slurred though a muffled yawn, cocking a brow and smiling lightly. For a second, she considered scolding him on using electricity in gas. She'd done that once, and the memories weren't so great. It seemed like he had it under control though, so she let it go. Just this once.

Luke scowled. "I was never allowed fast food. Or sweets, hardly ever. My mum said they made me hyper." Looked like he'd never get to have them again, either. "I always ate them when I got the chance."

Turning to smirk a little at Luke, Sylar gave a tiny chuckle. It was true, they didn't seem to be pie or apple, really. Sylar liked sweets as well, ice cream and hot chocolate especially. It wasn't likely he'd be having any soon.
Turning more fully around so that he could see the girl, he watched her lay her head on the table top. She seemed tired. "Go lay down. We'll wake you up when it's ready, huh?" he told her, giving Luke a glance as he said it.

"If I go to sleep now I won't be able to wake up," she mumbled, sitting up and leaning on the back of the chair. She glanced over at Gabriel or Sylar or whatever the hell his name was and smirked.
"Have any caffeine?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Coffee, pop... Anything with sugar..?" Elle smiled and chuckled to herself. Daddy didn't let her have sugar often, and when he did it was when she was with someone else so he didn't have to stick around and deal with her hyperness.

Luke turned his gaze on Syl ar eagerly as well. "... Do you?" He doubted Sylar did have them if Luke couldn't get sweets from the food supplies, but it was worth a try.

"Coffee." he said, gesturing to the half full pot he had made earlier that morning. There was sugar in the canister beside it. "Luke can warm it up if you want." he offered, reaching out and brushing his fingers across the back of the boys neck.
He didn't want the kid feeling jealous because Elle was now there, and he slid his fingers up into Luke's hair. Leaning in, he pressed his lips to the others temple, though he looked over to the girl when he did it. It was interesting, having an audience.

"Hm." Coffee wasn't her favorite thing in the world, but the caffeine and sugar should do some good for her. She glanced over at the pot, happy there was at least something. When she looked back, Sylar was mooching on Luke's temple. And he was looking at her. Elle met his gaze and for a second her smile faltered. She lowered her eyes, looking at the edge of the table in front of her. A blush spread over her cheeks.
Elle shook her head and stood, walking over to the coffee pot. She wasn't jealous of Luke. Of course not. Who'd be jealous of a kid? She wasn't jealous, she didn't even have anything to be jealous of. They were in a relationship before she popped in. The only reason she's here is because she's a friend.... Or something. "Where do ya keep your glasses?" she asked while keeping a steady, happy tone.

Luke smiled, winding his arms around Sylar's torso when the other man touched him. He let out a soft, happy sigh. As Sylar's lips brushed his skin, he looked over at Elle too, smiling as he saw her blushing. He wasn't sure how she felt about Sylar, but he wanted her to get the message. Maybe he could stop disliking her if she laid off the doe eyes at his man. To be honest, Luke had never been confident, and he was seriously insecure. Could he even call this a relationship? What claim had he on Sylar?

It was an interesting reaction, the blush he saw creep across her face when she saw what he was doing. "Mhmm. Cabinet beside the sink." he murmured, allowing Luke to wrap his arms around him.
Elle was very pretty, Sylar had to admit, and he wasn't blind to the looks she'd given him. He wanted to keep her close, it was safer that way, but he was already rather involved with Luke.

Elle opened the cabinet door and grabbed the first glass within reach. She dumped a good bunch of sugar into it before grabbing the coffee pot. It smelled bitter. She poured enough that most of the sugar would dissolve, hopefully not all so she had an excuse to have the stuff that sunk the the bottom. When she was done, she placed the pot back and leaned her back against the counter top. Wrapping both hands around the glass, like she'd seen Daddy do a million times before, she lifted it to her mouth. It tasted almost as bitter as it smelled, with the exception of a sweet aftertaste.
"Your fish is probably burning," Elle spoke. Like before, she had no reasoning to be a bitch and point out random things but she did it anyway. She took another sip of her sugar-with-some-coffee and smiled innocently.

Being reminded of the fact that he was actually trying to cook, Sylar made a gruff sound, pulling away from Luke and heading back to the stove. It wasn't burnt, but it would be if he didn't flip it soon. He moved closer to the girl, taking her by the hips and pushing her a few inches to the side so that he could pull open the drawer she was in front of and get a fork. Shutting the drawer, he gave her a look, then let her go again, moving back to take care of the fish.

Elle froze and looked at Sylar with wide eyes. Her glass almost slipped from her hands. She blushed heavily, attempting to cover it by taking another drink of her coffee. "Could'a just... asked," she mumbled quietly after she swallowed. She'd never been touched like that before. Sure, it was a minor thing but Daddy didn't let her date or see any boys besides her therapists (he was very protective). She'd never been grabbed by her hips. She'd never even really been hugged besides an occasional "Hi, how are you?" sorta thing she'd get from her dad once every few weeks.
Elle stayed where she was moved. She sipped her sugar-coffee and glanced over at Sylar cooking fish. That was a funny sight, seeing someone as intimidating as him cooking. Imagining him in an apron almost sent her in a fit of giggles. She directed her gaze back at the far wall and finished her drink. She placed her glass in the sink and moved back to the chair she'd claimed, making a face at the heavy sugar taste in her mouth.

Luke frowned, keeping his eyes firmly on both of them. He was having these irrational ideas that he couldn't turn his back on the two of them, even for a minute. He'd turned his back on his dad, and he'd deserted him. Not that he cared. Or at least, he tried not to. Anyway, that had just made him stronger. He was learning from his mistakes in the past; you had to keep people wanting to stay with you.

If things had not been tense enough with only he and Luke, the addition of the third person, Elle, had upped the level by leaps and bounds. It was amusing, and Sylar had already died once because of it. The thought made him grin to himself. Both of them were attractive on their own, and he wasn't immune to that. He couldn't help it if he wanted to keep them both.
