"Oooo-kay." An eyebrow shot up but she shook her head. Elle jumped lightly and sidestepped the water, flinching. She glared at the man. Then again, he probably didn't do it on purpose. He didn't know what she could do, didn't know what water did to her. She couldn't exactly be mad at him... Still.
"Mmm, no." She tilted her head while shrugging. Her mouth opened to speak again, but she closed it and gave a considering look. "I don't know what I was doing, actually. Just wandering." She smiled. Her gaze hit the kid again and Elle giggled. She shifted her vision between the two men and smirked.
"You didn't give me your names... I've never seen you around before." She batted her eyelashes and grinned suggestively, relishing in the momentary attention from the man. He was handsome. And cocky. She liked it.

Luke pulled his shirt back over his head, sitting close to Sylar in an attempt to convey something to the girl but not wanting to crowd Sylar. For a second, he felt like a dog trying to mark an owner as his territory. He took his time letting the collar of the shirt settle to cover the bruises on his lower neck from Sylar's bites. He almost wanted the girl to have seen them.

Sylar took a moment to size up the girl. He didn't know what her power was, but she obviously had one. She wouldn't have been on the island otherwise. Cocking his head a little, he finally offered a wicked smirk. "I'm Gabriel. And this is Luke." he said, reaching out and laying his hand on the younger ones head.
"You shouldn't wander so far out by yourself...You never know who you might run into.." he warned.

"Elle. I know I already said it, but I can still say it again," a giggle escaped her mouth. She placed a hand over her lips and smirked. "Pleasure to meet you Luke and Gabriel," she said after lowering her hand.
Elle furrowed her brows as he spoke again. "I think I can handle myself," her tone was low and her gaze steady. A frown settled on her face. "What can you..." she paused. "What can you do?" To be honest, she was a little scared. The way this man was speaking got her a little anxious. Then again, he had a kid with him - what kind of bogeyman traveled with a bite-size at his heels?

Luk felt a happy little rush when Sylar introduced him. And he knew the man's real name now, he thought smugly. He was still wary of this girl though, and determined not to become complacent with all he'd gained recently. Taking things for granted was how he lost them, and he wasn't having Sylar leave him behind. He waited for the other man to speak first, unsure what Sylar's plan was but not wanting to mess it up.

"I can do lots of things." Sylar countered, lifting his brows. He knew exactly what Elle meant, but he wasn't going to make it all that easy. Idly he curled a finger in one of the dark auburn locks of Luke's hair. There wasn't anything that she could do to him, so he wasn't worried, really.
"Are you wanting some Show and Tell?" he teased, wondering if she'd take up the challenge.

"You have more than one ability? How...? That's incredible." Elle's eyes lit up. Of all her years of working with the Company, she'd never heard of someone with more than one power. Then again she didn't really hear much, and what she did wasn't all that interesting. Nevertheless, it was still amazing.
She glanced at the boy. He was like a puppy sitting at Gabriel's heels. The way the man was stroking his head didn't help. Elle imagined a collar and leash attached and his tongue lolling out the side of his mouth. She held an snicker to herself.
"That sounds a little threatening," she looked him up and down, letting her gaze linger for a second before she snapped her eyes back up to his. She worried her lip between her teeth, considering. With her luck, he was some kind of super speedy strong ninja man with laser powers. She clawed her hand experimentally, feeling the sparks graze the inside of her skin. A small smile spread it's way over her mouth. Her eyebrows shot up in cocky manner.
"Do it."

Luke smirked slightly sadistically, and he looked up at Sylar to see what he planned to do, leaning into the hand stroking his hair. Fry her. That would be funny. He felt weirdly violent towards the girl, but he really didn't like the way she was looking at Sylar. He hoped Sylar wasn't falling for the cute little girl act.

The cute little girl act wasn't fooling Sylar for a moment. He continued to smirk when she lifted her hand, and he dropped his own away from Luke and took a step forward. It looked as though she was preparing some sort of blow, and he looked down at her hand, lifting his brows.
Instead of preparing an attack of his own, Sylar lifted his arms a little out to his sides, baring his chest vulnerably. "Why don't you hit me with your best shot." he taunted, more eager to see her use her power than to harm her with any of his own. Once he saw her in action he could decide if it was worth his time to steal them.

Elle's face fell. He was just offering himself up? That wasn't right... He had to have something up his sleeve... What was that one she'd heard her dad talk about... Rapid cellular regeneration? Yeah. Well, that's dandy. She let her hand fall. "Don't wanna hurt your puppy," she lied. Her eyes flickered toward Luke, a smile dancing within the gaze. The river rushed next to her, reminding her to keep her electricity in check. If she let it all go like this guy was suggesting, she'd end up hurting herself, too.
Besides, she kinda liked this Gabriel guy. Even if it healed like she expected, it would still hurt. She shivered inwardly at the thought of burning, blistering skin. Oh how good that would feel to cause... She closed her eyes and shook her head. No, stop thinking like that. You're not a delusional sociopath... She glanced up through her lashes at Gabriel and bit her lip again.

"I can take care of myself." Luke said hotly, insulted at the girl's dismissal of him. He was kind of beginning to hope that Sylar did plan on killing her. He was admittedly apprehensive about what power she did have, but if it was a good one, that made it more likely that Sylar would want it.

Sylar was mildly disappointed when she dropped her hand. The pain never really bothered him, because he knew that it would shortly disappear. Dropping his hands to his sides again, he gave her a look that showed his disappointment, then glanced back at Luke as he spoke.
It was obvious that the kid was not liking the situation one bit, and Sylar almost had to chuckle at that. He'd never seen anyone act possessive of him before. "Chill out, Luke" he said, moving back towards the younger one. Taking his chin, he tilted up Luke's head and leaned down, pressing a slightly forceful kiss to his lips before pulling back and releasing him. "Why don't you invite her to dinner." he said, though his tone wasn't so much suggestive as it was commanding. Sylar went for his shirt, then, plucking it up from the ground and pulling it over his head.

Luke smiled slightly, the kiss reassuring him. He wasn't being ignored after all. Sylar was just interested in the girl's power, that was all. He hadn't really expected the other man to show him any public affection, but he was happy that he had. Maybe that would tell... Elle... exactly where she stood.
It didn't occur to him that he was being placated. He told himself firmly that he should trust Sylar. He had already trusted him with his life.
"You know how to cook a fish?" he addressed the girl, his tone almost polite but his eyes still on Sylar.

Elle's jaw dropped and an eyebrow shot up under her bangs. She pulled her gaze away and pouted melodramatically. Honestly, she should have guessed. It was just her luck. She wouldn't be surprised if all the men on this island were gay. With a small huff she pulled on a half-hearted smile and looked back at them. She wondered what the age difference between them was. Gabriel was at least 25, if not older. Luke couldn't be more than 18. Inwardly, she shrugged. Whatever. Not like it mattered on the island anyway. There weren't any laws.
"Fish? Uhm. Not really. The last time I was outdoors was when I was six," she proclaimed through a small laugh. She glanced around. The guys had been sitting on some nice-sized rocks before she came. Couldn't be much different from cooking on a frying pan, right? Elle lifted her left hand to her chest, considering. She lowered it and half-walked half-skipped right up beside Luke. It was so tempting to give him a little static shock... See him jump and surprise light up in his eyes... Elle shook her head and giggled again.
"Can either of you heat up a rock?" She'd keep her power a secret until they asked. Just to give a little suspense.

Luke was really tempted just to laugh at her. The look on her face was absolutely hilarious. Slightly more relaxed now, he looked back at her with a slightly cocky expression when she came closer to him. He wasn't afraid of some dumb girl.
"Maybe." he shot back to her question, folding his arms and squaring up to her, but not very seriously.
He quite wanted to show off his power, actually. He knew it was pretty powerful, and he was sure he could go further with it than he had done so far. It was one of the things that made him proud of himself. The only one, actually.
